Dear Friends and Kababayans,
On Wednesday, January 23rd, at 6:30 P.M., you have an opportunity to help shape the future of the Filipino-American community in the San Fernando Valley. On that day, we invite all stakeholders, visionaries, concerned residents, business owners and leaders to come together at Bistro Manila in Arleta to discuss and layout a plan of action to establish the Filipino-American vision in the San Fernando Valley.
Eddie Angeles, a top-ranking Filipino-American attorney at the L.A. City Attorney's office, will join the meeting to help us understand our needs as a community and to help us define our next steps. As the special counsel to the city council, Eddie has direct access to the power base at city hall. As a Filipino-American, Eddie is the go-to guy for all things Filipino by members of the city council. His close relationship with the city's elected representatives put Eddie Angeles in a unique position to help our community position itself successfully.
We ask you, therefore, to come and be a part of this historic forum – share your thoughts, make suggestions or listen for ideas. It's time for us to take action!
