VOTING AND ATTENDING SCREENINGS
Voting for the Screen Actors Guild Awards® was done in two stages. The first, nominations balloting, is voted on by two nominating committees. These nominating committees are selected at random by computer in April of each year. The second stage of voting, the final balloting, begins once the nominations are announced.

FINAL BALLOTING
Final ballots were prepared and mailed on December 28, 2007 to the entire active, paid-up Guild membership. And must be received back in a return envelope provided to the elections firm, Integrity Voting Systems, by 12 Noon on Friday, January 25, 2008.
Online voting was also provided with a six digit PIN given to SAG members. The recipients of the awards was announced at the 14th Annual Screen Awards Guild Awards® Sunday, January 27th at 8 pm ET/PT and aired on TNT and TBS.

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION MAILINGS
The studios mailed screening DVDs to the full membership a few weeks ago. I interviewed a Filipino SAG member January 26, 2008 one day before the Awards night, on her ballot and how she voted but she was not at liberty to let me know who her choices were. But she confessed she watched and reviewed most of the FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION DVDS and that she did send in her ballot. That is guild democracy at its best among its 120,000 members.
