Philippine Inmates' version of "Thriller"

The Dance video of Cebu inmates in their prison uniform is the latest, biggest hit on You Tube. Yahoo News featured it on its headlines today, August 4, 2007 with more than 841,000 views.

The U.S. according to the U.S.Department of Justice (DOJ) has the most prisoners of any country in the world with an astounding 2.3 million inmates and rising. The influx of inmates outgrow the number of prison facilities every year. Maybe the U.S. DOJ can take this cue from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) and adopt some "Britney Spears" dance video rendition in the U.S. Prison system.

This gives them something positive to look forward to every day. Hats off to the CPDRC and the inmates. Great idea. It would be WONDERFUL if we in the U.S. would do something more positive and uplifting for our American prisoners. No harm in this whatsoever...if anything, it s fun.
